Program brief:
The Samnite capital is a city that can be called an “open-air museum,” enhanced by the many architectural beauties that these great civilizations of the past left in their wake: splendors that are concentrated in Benevento’s historic center, within easy walking distance of each other. A visit to Benevento is an authentic journey through history: from the time of the dinosaurs to the most current and contemporary evolution of Western artistic civilization. A beauty worth mentioning is definitely the Monumental Complex of Santa Sofia, a UNESCO heritage site. The itinerary ends in Sant’Agata de’ Goti, awarded the title of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, as well as European Wine City in 2019.
