Naples is a city rich in history and culture, famous for its UNESCO-listed historic center, lively streets, Vesuvius, and, of course, pizza. It is a place where art music and traditions mingle in a unique atmosphere.
Procida, the smallest of the islands in the Gulf of Naples, is an authentic jewel with its colorful houses, the village of Marina Corricella and a still genuine atmosphere. Italian Capital of Culture 2022, it has a timeless charm between sea and seafaring tradition. Corricela is Procida’s most atmospheric village; the main square, named after Troisi, offers one of the most enchanting views in the world; the houses are interlocked with each other, and the reason they are colorful seems to be related to the tradition of fishermen, who could already recognize their home from the sea. The other peculiarity of the island of Procida is that, thanks to its microclimate, it can grow a very special lemon compared to others, in fact it is much larger and sweeter, allowing the preparation of delicacies, such as limoncello and lemon cream.
