SMALL TOUR CAMPANIA-NAPLES AND NEARBY (FALL-WINTER)

Day 1 (Saturday) Naples and nearby

Arrival in Naples and accommodation in the hotel of the planned location (room delivery from 16:00). Before dinner meeting with our tour leader. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 (Sunday) Sorrento and the ruins of Pompeii

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Sorrento and visit of the town. Departure for Pompeii with a stop for a multimedia and multisensory tour and at a renowned pasta factory in Gragnano, “the city of pasta,” specializing in the artisanal production of Pasta di Gragnano IGP and tasting lunch (three types of pasta + 1 wine glass + water and dessert). Afternoon visit to the Pompeii excavations, which have returned the remains of ancient cities buried under ash, lapilli and mud during the eruption of 79 AD. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 (Monday) Naples (Historic center and San Severo Chapel).

Breakfast at the Hotel. Visit to the Historic Center: The Church of St. Clare with its cloister, the Cathedral of St. Gennaro, the artisan stores of St. Gregorio Armeno and the historical-monumental sights that surround them. Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch visit to San Severo Chapel, a veritable treasure chest of artistic and architectural treasures. The chapel houses sculptural masterpieces such as the famous Veiled Christ by Giuseppe Sanmartino. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 (Tuesday) Naples (Panoramic bus tour and street art in the Quartieri Spagnoli)

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic bus tour of the city. Walk through the Quartieri Spagnoli admiring the colorful graffiti decorating the walls. Lunch in a pizzeria to eat the typical Neapolitan pizza. After lunch guided walk through Via Toledo admiring the Galleria Umberto I, Piazza Plebiscito, the exteriors of the San Carlo Theater, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and Piazza Municipio. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 (Wednesday) Naples and surroundings

Breakfast at the hotel and end of our tour.

Package includes: 

•  Gran Turismo coach and tour leader (multilingual on request) from dinner on the day of arrival until lunch on the day before departure.
•  4 half board meals (breakfast and dinner including drinks: 1/4 bottle of wine + 1/2 bottle of mineral water per person), with dinners served either at the hotel or in external restaurants. Traditional regional menu with 3 pre-set courses.
•  Accommodation in 4-star hotel.
•  Welcome cocktail.
•  Use of personal audio-receiving devices throughout the entire tour.
•  Local guides for visits to the Pompeii Excavations and Naples.
•  Entrance fees to all sites and museums listed in the program. Private sites: San Severo Chapel and Santa Chiara Cloister. State sites: Pompeii Excavations.

Imperatore Travel World will then recalculate the total cost. After this deadline, no adjustments or refunds can be guaranteed.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

Hotels and overnight locations will be communicated to you, 7 days prior to departure. At the time of booking, it is necessary to point out if there are any particular food intolerances. In addition, while limiting the possibility, groups may consist of tourists of different nationalities and therefore there may be explanations in multiple languages. For operational reasons, overnight stays could all be held at one location/structure. Excursions scheduled in the program could be changed or substituted due to adverse weather conditions and for operational reasons.
